THING!There's a lesson to be learned when 18,99€ is asked for a pre-alpha Early Access game that is buggy, broken, incomplete and bland, and that's hardly been updated since it's release seven months ago.I walked straight into their trap those seven months ago and I really wonder why... :I. Dead game. What's there isn't too bad, but there isn't much there. Wouldn't recommend.. Sadly i had to move this "game" (more of a tech demo) to my "abandoned games" catagory on steam. this looks amazing, but thats all it is. no updates in a long long time. makes me feel that the dev just forgot about it. sad, it had good potential. Even in it's early access state, the game is fun. There may be plenty of room for improvement, but the game seems to be heading in the right direction and I can't wait to see what happens with it.Currently, there are plenty of flaws. I was able to slaughter all of the peasants in the spawn town, some even right in front of guards, who obviously didn't care for the town's citizens. I found that quite amusing, but hope that it will eventually be a bit more realistic. It's also a bit unfair, in a way. You're able to spawn right after dying, which doesn't set back time at all (like most RPGs, that load from save states). With this in mind, I was able to continually go after the same guy several times until he died.Graphically, the game looks fantastic. The Memory of Eldurim makes use of the CryEngine, the first indie title I've ever seen using the engine. I really enjoy the game, but it's going to need a lot of improvement before it's ready to see the light of day. I can recommend it in its current state, but don't expect too much content-wise. The price cut isnt bad, keep in mind, its the fact that the game is abandoned, will never be finished, is in an alpha-like or pre alpha state, and yet they still feel okay keeping it on the store.It's not a game at this point, it would just make a mildly entertaining Cryengine tech demo.. dead as a door nail so no just no wont get your 99 cents worth. The developers stopped updating 2 years ago with maybe 15% of an actual game here. MAYBE 15%. In the last 2 years waiting for an update, I devised these creative yet terrible things to wish upon them. I hope that they...are forced to live with the worlds smallest water heater,burn their mouth on the first bite of a delicious meal,step in a mysterious puddle with their socks every time they go into the bathroom,watch a remake of whatever their favorite movie is, and its garbage,wash something red with all of their white clothes,get sand in their shorts without even getting the enjoyment of going to the beach,get their order wrong at every restaurant,speak with someone too ethnic to understand at any drive-thru,always get raisins instead of chocolate chips,turn their pillow over to the cool side, only to have it also be warm,feel their cell phone vibrate in their pocket, only to have it not be there,stub their toe, at least every other day,always find out that they have no toilet paper only after dropping a deuce,only be greeted by really sweaty handshakes,get facebook notifications that are only game invites,only dream about being at work whenever they sleep,always get really warm water when they try to get a drink,always get haircuts that are shorter on one side, but not notice untill after getting home,have the slowest checkout line at a grocery store, regardless of length,start to sneeze only to end up not sneezing,always get 30 second, unskippable ads on youtube that load with no problem,followed by a video that stops to buffer every 3-5 secondsaccidentally use their masterball on a pidgey, and corrupt their file when trying to reset,only ever find handguns when they drop in their chosen battle royale,always get ganked in dark souls pvp,and finally, never be able to carry in their groceries into the house with a single trip.. Its just amazing although it is just the early access... I defenitly would recommend it to all of you!. Instead of buying this - flush your money down the toilet, it will be more fun to watch it swirl around.
